Tibor and his team did an outstanding job on our gutter installation. The workmanship was neat, precise, and looks great on the house. … They left the property completely clean when finished. Highly recommended!

Forest City Eavestrough

Seamless eavestrough, made at your house

We bring the machine to the job and form each run of 5-inch seamless eavestrough on site, cut to your home's exact lengths. With no joints along the run, there are fewer places for it to leak, and every corner is mitred by hand. Because we make the eavestrough ourselves, the warranty on it is ours to stand behind.

  • Cut to fit on site.

Each run is formed at your house and measured to it, not ordered in pieces.

  • Corners mitred by hand.

Clean, sharp corners that line up with the run, on every job.

  • 10-year workmanship warranty.

On every new install and replacement, plus the applicable manufacturer warranty on siding products.

  • Most eavestrough done in a day.

Soffit, fascia and siding can take a few days to a week, depending on material lead times.

  • A quote you can count on.

Sizes

5-inch standard, 6-inch when your roof needs it

5-inch seamless eavestrough is our standard and suits most homes. For a large or steep roof, or a run that takes the water off a roof valley, we also install 6-inch, which carries more water before it overflows. We'll look at your roof when we quote and tell you which one your home needs, and if 5-inch will do the job, we'll say so.

Colours

A colour to match your home

Match your roof, trim or siding, or pick a colour that stands out. Here are 16 of the colours we install.

Behind the eavestrough

What happens when eavestrough overflows

Your eavestrough hangs on the fascia, the board along the edge of your roof. When it leaks or overflows, water runs down behind it and soaks the fascia, then the soffit underneath. Left long enough, the board rots and the eavestrough has nothing solid to hang on.

Repair or replace: what do your eavestroughs need?

A leak at one joint or a single sagging section can often be repaired. When the seams leak along the whole run, water spills over the front, or the board behind the eavestrough has gone soft, patching only buys a season. We'll look at your eavestrough and tell you plainly which it needs.

Signs it's time for new eavestrough

  • Drips or rust streaks at the seams and corners, where sections are joined.
  • Water pouring over the front edge in heavy rain.
  • A run that sags or pulls away from the house, or icicles building along the edge in winter.
  • Stains, peeling paint or rot on the fascia board, or on the window sills below.
  • Downspouts that empty right beside the foundation.

Common questions

Eavestrough questions from London homeowners

How long does a new eavestrough install take?

Most homes are done in a single day. We form the seamless eavestrough on site, so there's no waiting on pieces to arrive, and we clean up before we leave. If your soffit or fascia needs replacing too, the job can take a few days to a week, depending on material lead times, and we'll tell you that when we quote.

Do I need 5-inch or 6-inch eavestrough?

Most homes take 5-inch, our standard. 6-inch carries more water, so it can suit a large or steep roof, or a run that takes the water off a roof valley. We'll look at your roof when we quote and tell you which your home needs.

Can you replace my old eavestrough?

Yes. We take down the old eavestrough and install new seamless runs in its place, and most replacements are done in a day. If the board behind it needs replacing, we'll tell you when we quote.

What colours can I choose from?

Over 15 colours, shown above, and more on request. If you're matching your siding or trim, tell us when we quote.

What warranty do you offer?

Every new install and replacement we do comes with a 10-year workmanship warranty, and siding products also carry the applicable manufacturer warranty. Because we make our seamless eavestrough ourselves, our workmanship warranty is the cover on it, so we build it to last. We'll go through the details with you when we quote.

Are gutter guards worth it?

We'll install leaf guards if you want them, but we'll be straight with you: on a lot of homes they cause more problems than they solve. We'll look at your roof and the trees around it and tell you honestly whether they make sense for your house.

Can I finance the work?

Yes, through iFinance Canada. You can apply online and get an answer within minutes, with no down payment and terms from 12 to 72 months, on approved credit.

What areas do you serve?

London and the surrounding area, including Ingersoll, St. Thomas, Strathroy-Caradoc, Stratford and Aylmer. If you're nearby but not on that list, call us and ask.
